Naval officer's saber:openwork brass hilt carved on both sides,decorated with a naval anchor,scallops and a dolphin's head,horn handle,double-grooved steel blade marked Coulaux & o klingenthal.Black varnished leather scabbard, cap decorated with an anchor, a button for wearing on the belt, a piton with ring, central trim with piton and ring, bolt decorated with a scallop shell, black lanyard.France, early 20th century.
Good condition: traces of oxidation on the blade.
