- Black felt bicorne, underlined by a wide woven silk braid, representing a race of naval anchors inscribed in a garland of oak leaves, tricolor cockade sewn to the front, braid piped black in the center and gold, held down by a gilded uniform button stamped with a naval anchor for officers, white satin headdress interior, marked in gold with the hatmaker's mark "Gautier Toulon". Size 55 cm. With painted wooden carrying case.
