Description

A pair of one of a kind antique Italian Empire Period (early 19th Century) carved wood Casetta frames. These are of a very high quality hand painted rectangular solid wood frames with aged modern mirror plates. A repeated pattern decorates these wonderful art objects in a warm palette of Sienna red, brown, green and gold. The raised mouldings are black which works as a stunning contrast with the ornate design current with the period.

Can also be sold as a frame with the plate removed.
