Superb oval-shaped antique mirror, framed in a large, richly carved wood frame with leaf gilding (or antique gilding), Napoleon III / 19th century.
Description

This mirror is distinguished by its finely worked frame, adorned with raised plant friezes, pearls and chased floral motifs all around. The deep molding and the richness of the decoration give it a beautiful decorative presence.
The frame has an antique patina with natural wear to the gilding, giving it its charm and authenticity. The glass also looks old, with a few visible traces of time (micro-scratches, slight pitting or alterations to the sheen depending on the light), consistent with its age.
It is fitted with a hanging system (rope) at the back, making it easy to hang on the wall.
