These lithographs represent an outstanding example of Mucha's work in artistic illustration and decorative art. The series testifies to Mucha's mastery of lithography to create artistic works that transcend their advertising origins to become icons of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. In this work, Mucha manages to capture the ephemeral essence of each season, giving it a timeless evocative power. Spring blossoms in a floral explosion, summer is bathed in golden light, autumn is adorned with amber tones, and winter is adorned with vivid colors.
Magnificent vintage Mucha art nouveau painting resting at night.

Magnificent vintage art nouveau painting by Mucha. The stained glass border, intricate design and vivid matte colors create a stunning design for your home decor.

The signature appears below.

This painting is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of original patina.

Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist who lived in Paris during the Art Nouveau period. He was known for his decorative theater posters, particularly those for Sarah Bernhardt. He often used lithography as his printing technique, and signed his posters inside the block.
.
Mucha transports us into a dream world where nature and femininity blend harmoniously. A graceful woman with wild hair rests peacefully.

The wooden frame shows some signs of ageing, but remains solid. The glass shows a few light scratches.
