This ornamental Louis-XV style mirror glass captures the grace of the Rococo age. Crafted of gilt bronze, the frame features sweeping, heavy scrolls and acanthus with floral details. A singing bird adorns the top of the golden frame. The back part has a sliding display stand, ornamented with palmettes and acanthus, allowing the mirror to be placed on a table or a fireplace. Small in size and intricate in detail, the design of this mirror shows the interest of Napoleon III era in the Louis XV age.
