Mirror in a beautiful openwork pedimented frame, in gilded, molded, and carved wood, decorated with garden attributes including a large hat, ears of wheat, a scythe, and whips, surrounded by volutes of acanthus leaves and foliage, the frame adorned with friezes of pearls and heart-shaped rays, flanked by small bouquets of falling flowers at the top and foliage and a scraper at the bottom (old mercury mirror and most likely original, good overall condition of the gilding with some losses inherent to the age of the piece, small restorations, and minor accidents).
