Maison Lecan presents this superb Napoleon III mirror, circa 1880, with original mercury tint.
Its blackened wood frame is finely decorated with gilded floral motifs and pearls in relief, emblematic of the Second Empire style.
The carved pediment, decorated with palmette and scrolls, lends it a refined character.
Completely restored a few years ago, this mirror has been broken at the back.
The mirror is in beautiful vintage condition, with only a few mercury stains, giving it its period charm.
