Fire stamp on the back of the oak mirror depicting a salamander - this is the stamp of André Mailfert.
André Mailfert was a renowned French industrialist, cabinetmaker, painter and writer, who founded a company in Orleans in 1904 to manufacture faux antique furniture. His label was taken over by the Amos family in 1935.
