France, 1930s/1950s, very pretty and large trumeau in lacquered and gilded wood made in the spirit of the French 18th century. The mirror in the lower part has an entourage of gilded wood forming a garland embellished with Rocaille motifs and a scallop shell at the top. The same frame is visible on the upper part composed of a painting in the romantic spirit depicting a young couple in love in a countryside landscape. The set is of very good quality. Measurements: Height 165cm. Total width at the top 106 cm. Minimum width 99.5 cm. Good condition except for slight normal wear and no impact. No shock, crack or lack.
