Painted trumeau composed of a mercury mirror in the lower part, and a painted canvas in the upper part, depicting a rural family scene.

A young father takes care of his little daughter, sitting in a park in front of an architectural setting depicting an alcove niche. Next to them, the young mother is busy making a bird held by a tie flutter.

At the feet of the group, a bouquet of flowers is placed next to the wicker bird cage.

The whole is framed by a golden baguette, simply molded and decorated with foliage.

Work from the last quarter of the 18th century.

Light pitting on the skin; slight gaps (hardly visible) at the bottom of the canvas.

    Height: 167.5cm.
