Painterof typical scenes of Oranese life, portraits and landscapes,he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member,from 1920 to 1929.

Atl'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris, he studied with Thiébault andPavée. A first exhibition in Oran, in 1923, revealed him to the public.public; he presented the Côte d'Azur: the Grotte auxnymphs (in Cannes), a street in Grasse, and views of the Côte oranaise.Coast.

Inthe magazine Oranof February 3, 1925, Alfred Cazes, speaking of an exhibition by Bono,remarks: "Mr Bono is from our region. He revealed to theOranais, who were a little too ignorant of the grandiose beautyof their cliffs. The Cueva del Agua and its huge rocks were his themeserved as a theme, from which he drew extraordinary variations..."

Bonoalso travels in southern Algeria and Morocco. His wife isalso a painter under the name Bono-Dugelay
