    This painting is annotated and dated 1936 on the back, probably by the artist, and signed in the lower left corner, though I unfortunately haven't been able to decipher the name of the painter, who used a palette knife and applied a significant amount of paint to the canvas.
    Beautiful light and colors typical of the Provençal and Mediterranean schools. Attractive, more contemporary frame in patinated and gilded wood.
