    Painting by René Schlosser (1933-2017) on canvas mounted on a stretcher. The work presents a semi-abstract landscape, where trees and reliefs mingle in a play of transparencies and colored superimpositions. This work is a continuation of Schlosser's research into pictorial matter, carried out in the late 1970s and early 1980s, on his return to France after his stay in North Africa. While his approach is sometimes reminiscent of Supports/Surfaces experiments, it retains a more personal and poetic dimension.
