    Austrian Active in France.

Painter of landscapes, seascapes, harborscapes, waterscapes. Orientalist tendency.
He worked mainly in Rouen, but also in Paris and Venice. Some of his Orientalist landscapes are painted in a thick paste that tends to melt the forms.
