    ROSE BUSH Amédée
    1831 - 1898.
    French painter.

Painter of animated landscapes, landscapes, urban landscapes, seascapes.

Amédée Rosier is best known and sought after for his seascapes.
He has a classic touch which nonetheless makes his works very beautiful.

The primary quality of his paintings is light.
The painter manages to beautifully capture the atmosphere of the end of the day, when the sun's rays cross the sea or the intensity of moonlight.
These canvases are warm, and refer to the colors of the Italian and oriental landscapes where he lived and stayed, such as Venice or Egypt.

A student of L. Coigniet and Durand, he debuted at the Paris Salon in 1857; he received a third class medal in 1876 and a bronze in 1889 (Universal Exhibition).
