Auguste VALERE born in Marseilles on July 29, 1901
A student of the Beaux-Arts in Marseille and Versailles, he followed the advice of Jean-Baptiste OLIVE and Marius BARRET. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français where he obtained a silver medal; he also appears in the Union of Artists of Provence in 1937 and 1938. Elsewhere, he was honorary president of the Society of Independent Artists of Provence, is one of the most sensitive artists of Rive-Neuve. He lived in Bouc-Bel-Air (Bouches du Rhône) where he died in 1995
