Firmin Édouard Maglin (1867–1946) was a French painter and lithographer best known for his serene Post-Impressionist landscapes.

Born in Paris in 1867, Maglin was the son of porcelain painter Firmin Adonis Maglin and ConstanceValérie Émélie Navlet. He studied at the Germain-Pilon and Bernard-Palissy schools of drawing in Paris, where he trained under the academic painters Ferdinand Humbert and Henri Gervex.

Maglin exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1890 and 1909. He also participated in the Salon des Indépendants (1895) and the Salon d'Automne (1903 and 1904). Around 1902, he settled between Montgeron and Chantecoq in the Loiret region, where the rural landscape became an enduring source of inspiration. His work is characterized by a Post-Impressionist sensibility, capturing the quiet beauty and atmosphere of the French countryside.

In March 1894, he exhibited landscapes at the gallery of Le Barc de Boutteville, and later that year married Émilie Célina Mancelle. In 1899, he presented approximately sixty landscapes at the Salon des Cent, where writer and critic Octave Uzanne praised him as a "painter of rustic tranquility."

Maglin's reputation extended beyond France. In 1908, he exhibited landscapes and portraits at the Galerie Doré in London. He also produced lithographic illustrations for several fine bibliophile editions.

His sister, Claire Maglin-Rochette, was likewise an accomplished painter.

Firmin Édouard Maglin died in 1946 at his country home in Auxy, Loiret. Later that year, the contents of his studio were dispersed at auction in Puiseaux.
