Pierre Dupuis, born in Orléans in 1833 and died on the Île-de-Bréhat in 1915, was a French painter.
He was the brother of painter and sculptor Daniel Dupuis (1849-1899).

Biography:
The son of painter Étienne-Denis Dupuis, Pierre Dupuis entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1848, studying in the studios of Horace Vernet and Léon Cogniet.
Pierre made his debut at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1863 and exhibited there until 1909.
He was a member of the Société des Artistes Français. He won second prize in the 1863 Prix de Rome with his painting Joseph Recognized by His Brothers.
Dupuis received an honorable mention at the 1882 Salon, a third-class medal in 1884, and an honorable mention at the 1889 Paris World's Fair.
