Fine 19th-century wooden frame (mahogany and bird's-eye maple veneer): 57.5 x 80.5 cm
Very good condition, minor restorations (see back)
Circa 1905
Note: Marius Roy was appointed naval painter in 1901. The "Peintres de la Marine" anchor accompanying the signature indicates that the painting was completed after 1901. We therefore indicate a date of around 1905, given the support and anchor.
