recognized portrait painter. He also paints landscapes of the East and the West, linking Brittany and the Maghreb.
The Breton Museum of Faouët devoted an exhibition to him in 2013 and published a catalog. The Narbonne Museum gave its name to one of its orientalist painting rooms.
