Work of important pictorial quality in gilded frame .Giancarlo Pignataro born in 1958 in Albanella, near Paestum, was educated in Rome where he graduated from the Liceo Artistico. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and Perugia. At a very young age he received appreciation and encouragement to continue his work from various established artists such as Annigoni, Ziveri and Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni. Giancarlo Pignataro , a highly appreciated artist ,devotes himself to painting, executed with various techniques ranging from fresco, tempera, oil and sculpture made with various materials including terracotta, marble and bronze. Of particular importance in Giancarlo Pignataro's work is the portrait executed "from life" in both painting and sculpture.
