    Lydia Lipkovska was born in 1882 in Babyn (Bessarabia, Russian Empire) and died in 1958 in Beirut.
    Opera and lieder singer (soprano) and singing teacher.
    She married cavalry lieutenant Pierre Bodin of the French Army of the Orient in Paris in 1919.
    She returned to Serge de Diaghilev's Ballets Russes in 1920.
    In Paris in 1927, she sang the role of Marfa in Rimsky-Korsakov's opera La Fiancée du Tsar at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
    After travelling extensively throughout Europe and beyond, she settled in Paris in 1950 to be closer to her daughter.
