Undoubtedly one of the painter's most beautiful still lifes. This oil painting is among his top ten works.
The works from 1956 are among his most successful. Pricking's expressionism that year is very close to that of Bernard Buffet.

A very balanced composition, supported by a perfect interplay of graphic design and color, makes this painting an exceptional work!
