A group of polychrome porcelain figures depicting a couple in 18th-century costumes seated around a small table. The composition has a romantic feel, with richly painted costumes accented with gold.
The delicacy of the porcelain lace (with some missing pieces) and the style of the figures are reminiscent of Thuringian productions, particularly those from the Rudolstadt and Volkstedt manufactories. Possibly from Ernst Bohne und Söhne.
Date: first half of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 23 x 13 cm, height 16 cm
