Meissen porcelain group representing the muse of comedy, Thalia*, holding a mask in her left hand, another mask on the base, a monkey to her right, and a child wearing a pointed hat in a tree. Model by J.J. Kandler, 1742. Mark in blue with two crossed swords under the base, intaglio mark** at the bottom of the tree, "Thalia" in italics.
Left arm reattached with restoration of the black mask and a branch of the tree.
