Three charming, chinese porcelain figurines dating to the late Qianlong / Jiaqing period towards the end of the 18th c.  The figures are musicians: one boy and a pair of very similar girls. These pieces are over two hundred years old and very nice to hold, so it will come as no surprise to see that they have minor damage  and restoration, but they still display very nicely.

Please inspect the photographs carefully, I have tried to capture the issues but as some is hard to spot, I will briefly describe the faults so that you are aware of what you are looking for.  Starting with the boy, he has had his head re-stuck and has lost the tips of the parts of the instrument he is holding. As for the girls, one has also had her head put back on her body, whilst the other girl has lost the tips of her hairdo (compare with the other figure) and the tip of her toe plus the corner of the base underneath it.

Other than that, there are issues relating to wear and manufacture which appear to be fairly common to all these figures.  I refer to things such as kiln faults, misapplied bits of colour, runs to the white enamel, patches where the colour has flaked off or is worn. However the holes in the back of the heads are deliberate and are designed to prevent the figures exploding in the kins.

I hope you can see all of this in the photographs.  I am happy to provide more if you wish to see something in particular or you can contact me if you have further questions.  There are currently a few other figurines similar to these for sale online, I suggest you might like to search for them to compare condition, obviously I have factored that into the pricing as you will see.  I genuinely believe this is a good opportunity to purchase a set of three very engaging figures, in acceptable condition for a reasonable price.

The figures are all around 15 cms high and weigh 162 g (boy), 163 g and 176 g.
