Description.
A really magnificent pair of serrated-edge Chelsea Red Anchor Period leaf plates, beautifully painted with fruit and flowers. Green rim painting. Each plate is designed as if two leaves are laid on top of each other. Red Anchor marks to the base of each item. c.1755. A similar shape of piece is on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London- see attached image

Condition.
In excellent antique condition. Crazing, as is pretty much endemic to Chelsea Porcelain of this period. Possible touching up of the rim enamels.
 
Dimensions.
29cm in length. 21cm in width.
