    Charming Paris porcelain coffee service for two, known as a tête-à-tête set, comprising two ovoid cups with handles adorned with lion masks, and matching saucers. Each cup is decorated with landscape medallions within gilt frames, set against a mottled lapis blue background. Each cup is a unique work of art, featuring a different scene. Beautiful matte and burnished gilding. Empire style, made during the Restoration period, circa 1830.

    These are large cups, suitable for a "long coffee" today. A beautiful and refined object for everyday enjoyment.

    Note: This set comes from a larger service, of which we only have a portion. We are also selling the matching teapot and another pair of cups to complete the set of four.

    The set is in excellent condition, with superb colors and very well-preserved gilding. There are no damages.
