Pair of Porcelain Dishes – Romantic Decoration, D&C France, Late 19th Century

Charming pair of porcelain dishes decorated in polychrome with pastoral and sentimental scenes in the 19th-century style.

Each piece depicts a different scene:
    - young women in a wooded landscape, suggesting a moment of intimacy,
    - a couple in an intimate and bucolic setting.

The decoration is delicately executed, with beautiful depictions of trees in shades of brown and ochre, created using the "blow-air" technique, typical of late 19th-century French porcelain.

The finely painted central scenes add a narrative and poetic touch.

Marked on the reverse: D&C France.

    Dimensions: approximately 30 x 22 cm

    Period: 19th century

Condition: Good overall condition. Some signs of use and minor wear, visible in the photos, with no cracks or repairs.

A charming decorative pair, ideal for wall display or to complement a collection of antique French porcelain.
