Rare, elegant sauceboat and integrated tray in fine Limoges porcelain stamped B&Co, Bernardaud & Cie, on the reverse, accompanied by the mark "Limoges France - Unique", a reference to a commercial line of the manufacture and not to the name of the decoration. Produced during the Art Deco period, circa 1930-1940. The sauceboat features a beautiful angular faceted shape with two opposing spouts, resting on a rounded octagonal dish. Decorated with stylized geometric motifs in shades of pink and blue, in keeping with the decorative aesthetic of the inter-war period, it is enhanced by a fillet and gilded motifs. It can also be used as a charming hyacinth pot.
Total length of dish 22cm, width 16cm. Sauce boat alone 17.5cm long and 12cm wide. Maximum height approx. 7.5cm. Very good overall condition, with well-preserved gilding and decoration. No chips or cracks. Approx. 600gr.
