    Globular teapot in Paris porcelain, decorated with a very fine polychrome floral design enhanced by wolf's teeth in fine gold. Produced in Paris in the 1780s.

    This type of floral decoration on a white background was produced by several Parisian manufactures that were active during the Ancien Régime. The very high quality of the painted decoration (flowers depicted "alive" with a sensibility close to easel painting) leads us to believe that the Manufacture d'Angoulême is a very likely attribution.

    Provenance: Galerie Le Cabinet d'Amateur, rue des Saint Pères, Paris.

    A fine collector's item in excellent condition, with no damage, vibrant colors and gilding.
