An uncommon beautifully printed and most unusual spill vase, on bright orange ground, gilded rim to foot, rim and waist and wonderfully executed prints. The mark would seem to date the piece to c.1840
A thin scratch running from the rim, as shown. It has not penetrated the exterior of the piece so would appear to be an original defect. Wear commensurate with age and use.
