Large ovoid vase in Sèvres blue porcelain. Superb Louis XVI-style chased and gilded bronze mounting: the vase rests on a square-section base adorned with acanthus leaves, the handles finely chased. Our vase is a kerosene lamp holder, whose removable device allows this beautiful object to be used as a centerpiece on a piece of furniture or as a lamp base. Louis XVI style, Napoleon III period.

When used as a lamp, you can keep the globe as shown or place a lampshade over the socket, for a more modern effect.
