Important pair of planters and their cup-shaped undersides. Beautiful purple background decorated with gilt friezes and grisaille scenes on one side and bouquets on the other. Beautiful "eclectic" work typical of the mid-19th century, mixing Louis XV, Louis XVI and Empire influences.

Condition report: very good condition, no cracks or accidents. Small wear to the gilding.
