Description :
Gilded and painted porcelain.
This pair of elegant and rare vases owes its typical 18th century proportions to the model copied by Samson.
It is a model of the Real Fabrica de Buen Retiro from the end of the XVIIIth century.
They were made in three different sizes.
Edme Samson decorated these vases with the so-called "pommadier" decoration.
We are in a work very close to similar models of the French eighteenth century.
One will note an apocryphal mark of Sevres in blue, indeed Edme Samson did not use systematically one of its referenced marks.
