These beautiful porcelain vases are in the spirit of the objects produced in Tournai. Ovoid in shape, they stand on a pedestal with a slightly twisted, narrow neck and foot. In the Louis XVI style, they are painted on the body, in red monochrome, with ruins in landscapes, on each side is a polychrome goat's head and the neck and foot are decorated with friezes of curves and counter-curves on a pale green background, garlands and small bunches of roses.
In excellent condition, I must point out, however, that the tips of two horns are slightly missing.
They bear an apocryphal Tournai mark on the reverse.
    Late 19th century.
    Height 38 cm.
