Pair of small cornet-shaped vases in Imari porcelain, resting on a circular base of chased and gilded bronze, surmounted by a torus of laurels. The decoration of the vase, composed of flowers such as dahlias and chrysanthemums, as well as birds on branches displays the traditional blue and red colors on a white background enhanced with gold of Japanese Imari porcelain. The inner edge of the flared neck is adorned with a few prunus branches.
Work carried out around 1880.
