    Large Paris porcelain vases/pot holders. Fine gilded decoration of palmettes standing out against a tangerine background and DC monogram. Empire Restoration period. 1810s.

    Our vase is in two parts: a large cone to accommodate the plants, mounted on a removable base used to collect excess watering.
    Large format model, very furnishing, as a fireplace insert or on a chest of drawers, ideal to complete an Empire period decoration.

    Excellent condition ; superb gilding well preserved without wear. No chips, no accidents, no restoration.
