Description :
Chased gilt bronze with brown patina.
This animated sculpture represents a rearing horse facing a snake in an attack position. We notice that the snake is only defending itself, the horse has stepped on its tail.
This group is placed on a naturalistic and imaginary terrace, shells on rocks, tree trunks and leaves.
The work of excellent quality is due to Jules Jacquemart, signed on the terrace.
