    Antique archer.
    Sculpture in green patinated bronze, signed on the terrace, black and white veined marble base (a restoration to the archer)

    Victor Joseph Ghislain Demanet, born in Givet on February 3, 1895 and died in Ixelles on February 7, 1964, was a Belgian sculptor and medalist.
    Pupil of Désiré Hurbin, member of the Salon des artistes français, Victor Demanet obtained in 1925 an honorable mention and exhibited in 1929 the plaster His Majesty King Leopold II, statue erected in Namur1, in Arlon, statue of Albert I.
    He won a bronze medal at the 1935 Salon.
