Charles Louis Malric: born August 19, 1872 in Bordeaux and died in the same city on January 21, 1942, was the student of Laurent Marqueste (1848-1920), Alexandre Falguière (1831-1900) and Antonin Mercié (1845-1916) at the Paris School of Fine Arts. He then became a professor at the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts.
