    Bronze signed Ch Monginot, "bronze AG Paris," and numbered EL3.

    Wear to the patina, scratches, and minor dents/impact marks on the face of one of the putti.

    Charlotte Monginot (1872-1962) was a French sculptor, daughter of the painter Charles Monginot. She exhibited for the first time at the Salon in 1895 and was named an Officer of the Academy in 1900 (i.e., a member of the Order of Academic Palms, an honorary title for members of the University of France).
    In 1903, she won the sculpture prize at the Salon of the Union of Women Painters and Sculptors.
    In 1910, she received a third-class medal.
