    After CLODION (1738–1814)
Important 19th-century bronze group with a brown patina and golden highlights
A faun and two putti evoke ancient mythology, in the spirit of the 18th century, which was marked by a taste for antiquity.
The composition is centered around an adult male figure with a powerful physique and an expressive face; he holds a tray laden with bunches of grapes and fruit in one hand, while his other arm reaches out toward one of the children.
    Solid bronze with powerful relief.
    Beautiful patina.
    Signed Clodion.
