Bronze with double black patina and gilded bronze, representing an African water-carrying giraffe woman, adorned with a pair of large hoop earrings, a high spiral necklace and a large spiral bracelet worn on the right thigh. A bronze vase rests on her head.
Elegant, slender, stylized body. Elongated limbs, curved back highlighting feminine attributes. Slight movement of the legs enlivens the figure. Stylized facial features. Body in bronze with black patina, highlighting the line and curves. Gilded thigh and neck jewels, earrings and vase highlight the curves and enhance the body.
Characteristic of the style of Karl Hagenauer (1898-1956), a famous Austrian designer specializing in the production of metal and wood objects, renowned for his modern, stylized works. Model from the 1970s, when reissues of Hagenauer's classics were produced.
