- Female head in onyx, 20th century work in a neo-classical style.
This face is distinguished by its hair, each wave of which has been carefully sculpted. Two braids arranged in a crown adorn the hair, which is held in place by a ribbon. A flowerette, elegantly placed on the second tier of the headdress, adds to the meticulous workmanship of the whole. This finely sculpted coiffure highlights the majesty of this head.
The delicate features underlining the eyes, the slightly protruding nose and the slightly hemmed lips create a calm, impassive and reassuring physiognomy.

- The half-round sculpture and the two openings (one on the underside and the other at the top of the head) suggest that this is the face of a larger sculpture, that of a caryatid (a female statue that serves as a pilaster and can support a cornice, architrave, balcony, etc. on its head).
