    Large plaster bust on pedestal representing Hermes.
    Circa 1900.
    Very fine work in excellent condition.
    Based on the ancient Greek statue discovered in 1877 in the ruins of the temple of Hera in Olympia.
    Traditionally attributed to Praxiteles (4th century B.C.), it is on display at the Olympia Archaeological Museum.
