Statue in soft porcelain biscuit representing "Menacing love" after Etienne Maurice Falconet (1716-1791) great French sculptor master of the Baroque school. This molding by stamping (created in several parts) is of good quality, of Rococo style and typical of the Louis XV period. The glaze is in a stone tone, the recovery of the carved details is very neat. Note that we made the wings of the angel disappear during the fingerprinting, perhaps in a more salesmanlike spirit. Under the base a number 4845. Heavy and fragile object without any cracks. Beautifully crafted and very decorative. Unsigned.
