Vallauris: Charming decorative ceramic piece depicting a bird well – Art Deco work circa 1940

A lovely polychrome glazed ceramic composition representing a rustic well adorned with small perched birds, buckets, and a jug.

The piece is rendered in a highly decorative, pastoral style, with beautiful modeling work and glazes in vibrant shades of green, blue, and ochre.

This piece, typical of decorative productions from the 1950s-1970s, captivates with its naive and poetic appearance, evoking a lively garden scene.

The raised details (birds, wood, well stonework) add considerable charm and presence.

An ideal decorative object for a country-style setting, kitchen, or conservatory.

Good overall condition, with some minor chips from use.
