Terracotta bust of Bacchus by the famous sculptor André Cavacos.
Our sculpture is signed Cavacos for André Cavacos, who was a well-known figure in the Paris art colony at the beginning of the 20th century. He was notably commissioned to paint portraits of a number of notable citizens, including Mistinguett, Bucot and Marcelle Ragnon. In 1925, Cavacos was awarded the silver medal at the famous Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Our bust rests on a square base decorated with a canthare cup.
Our bust is in perfect condition.
